A most excellent pairing—Sight Unseen curates a pop up shop – SHAPE SHOP – inside Creatures of Comfort. Opens tomorrow, April 10th – May 6th. New Friends (Alex Segreti & I) will have select weavings, Best Woof prints, and new Torus bangles in the shop. Sight Unseen is also launching their first ever printed matter – Paper View – which looks totally gorgeous. New Friends ‘how to weave’ demo is included in the book. We’re psyched!!!

Hi! New Friends weavings are here! Our new collection – Best Woof – is inspired by dogs and shapes. We made our first ever silkscreen print of a weaving in an edition of 25 of each color (blue and black), along with a large format photocopy poster - Dogs, Roving & Combs. RIP Whitney Houston. Before Whitney was famous for her voice, she was a fashion model. I Wanna Dance With Somebody was maybe my favorite video ever on MTV. The color palette–so striking, the vignettes–so graphic, the song–so danceable! Update: Why didn’t I see/mention her red overalls!?! Cute stuff.
