CHINA TIME

Hello from China! The past few weeks have been very hectic—I am now working for Areaware and one of my first assignments required traveling to China. So cool! My colleague LY and I are documenting our travels on tumblr – visit us at CHINAREAWARE! We’re really digging all the NEON.

PLASTICHIC

Syracuse University recently acquired a gigantic collection of plastics. Buckets of bakelite. Selections include sunglass frames manufactured by Foster Grant in the 1950s-1960s (shout out O-O !), snazzy lady earrings, chipmunk accessories for kids frames, and earth toned bracelets from 1930s—part of the bakelite brood.
