Portrait of the artist Sheila Hicks. Still buzzing from her retrospective ‘50 Years‘ at ICA Philly. Outside the exhibition there were two videos of Sheila talking about her work. One featured SH sifting through her personal archives (totally mind-blowing black and white prints), talking about each photograph—trips to India, Chile, Peru, Morocco—and how each countries architecture, colors and environment influenced her work. Super interesting. Super smart. Wish I could share it with you. Go see it, show closes Aug 7.
