FRANCOISE SAGAN.

I tumbled the first image a week ago and I can’t stop obsessing over Francoise’s companions short shorts & loafs of bread. Actually the entire photograph is just too much! Last week a French dude tells me I look like writer Francoise Sagan. I can see it a little but less nose. What I really want is her gingham/polka dot/high waisted styles. I’m waiting on a copy of Bonjour Tristesse from NYPL for some holiday reading.

I told you she was cool! But yeah, the nose is waaayyy off.
I want to see the movie, too! Any Frenchy is cool really, I’m flattered.
Bonjour Tristesse was one of my fave books as a teenager. Can’t remember the film but i’m sure it’s great. I get your obsession over the dude’s shorts and bread. We are used to seeing the women in revealing clothes not the guys. But she’s kind of butch, he’s kind of femme, but I’m sure they are ordinary 1960′s French heterosexuals. Different times, different cultures, different styles.
My gut reaction was – short shorts is a girl. Upon closer examination perhaps a boyish relative of Francoise? Thanks for the insights.
dead ringer, nose or not.
