This Thanksgiving I learned my cousin KR now works at the NY Historical Society and has access to the archives. Woot! I’m planning to visit her at work real soon. In the meantime I discovered NYHS has a Flickr account with a bounty of scanned images. Loving the dimensional typography. Shadow letters.
