Who Am I This Time? (1982) starring Christopher Walken & Susan Sarandon.

based on a short story by Kurt Vonnegut, soundtrack by John Cale.

Turning to community theater to help overcome his shyness, an awkward hardware store clerk (Christopher Walken) gets cast as Stanley in “A Streetcar Named Desire” and plays opposite a captivating Stella (Susan Sarandon), who falls for his brutish persona.

Through the convenience of watch it now Netflix you can really dig up some weird stuff on a whim. Especially my new favorite genre: theater as TV movie. Low budgets make movies brilliant!! You can also watch this 52 min wonder on YouTube.
