Youthful exuberance — running, tugging, singing, dancing, jumping, cuddling little lambs. I adore this book about traditional folk dress and activities of Polish children.

  1. It reminds me my childhood in north of France with my polish grand-mother. When I was not at school I was in her farm during day time, giving milk in a wine bottle to the baby sheeps (sometimes their mother didn’t have enough milk for all of them), making crowns of daisies as my grand-mother used to teach me, or baking cakes on a butter wrapping in the wood fire and so on. And sometimes she was receiving postcards looking like these photos!

Wow! What a wonderful life! I have a Polish grandmother, too. But we never did such idyllic things! Thanks for sharing.
