Take me home country roads… Despite a harsh history of coal mining Big Coal River Valley is located in a lush temperate zone filled with rich homegrown gardens and deep forests. Ramps, black walnuts, beets, kale, squash, potatoes and molly moochers run wild in Southern West Virginia! I also enjoy the clever automotive and textile innovations these West Virginians have created.
