ART TEACHER.

Matt and I took a second trip to the NYPL. Many thanks to craft minded librarian, Jessica Pigza who brought us some old timey craft books to help in our research. The Art Teacher by Pedro J. Lemos first published in 1931 is pictured above. These pics are from ebay - first edition is for sale. Totally beautiful with excellent projects for children (and adults!).

    Yikes, “cotton” is a little problematic! But graceful and mysterious curves are wonderful!

    i love these old colors. the greens, greys and blues.. id love to do a room in these colors…
