I rarely post items not found on the internet. Today is the exception. Matt and I attended the NYPL class I mentioned yesterday—Handmade Then and Now by Jessica Pigza. It was excellent! I learned basics of the NYPL system – how to search for exactly what I need. I can’t wait to spend a day on the third floor looking through non circulating books. The books (poorly) photographed above are relics Jessica shared with the class. These were just things lying around her desk. How lucky to be a librarian!

Whoa! Those look amazing! Maybe you can share your book-finding secrets…libraries are super. I always mean to visit the NYPL more…

Hot, share the love, more off-lining…the photos are fine, much better than killing the books on a scanner

Matt, I found the books listed on Jessica Pigza’s blog. Starting from the top :
1. Another collection of one hundred textile designs compiled by S. Takahashi (patterns)
2. Paper silhouettes by Mildred Swannell (bunnies)
3. Formschone Lampen und Beleuchtungsanlagen by Gerhard Krohn and Fritz Hier (lighting)
4. Wood Type from William H. Page and Company (type)

I am excited to visit the NYPL again soon. And make another post.
